How a shift runs

The driver signs in and sets off. Everything else happens along the way – without anyone having to ring him.

1Start the shiftOne tap and the driver is in the system. From then on the business can see who's out.
2Get the run and set offThe deliveries assigned to him are there in the list, with address, order and payment method. Navigation starts straight from the app.
3Set the statusPicked up, on the way, delivered. Two seconds, and everyone in the business knows – without a call back.

Bits of paper your driver has to take with him:

Address, order, payment method, change – it's all in the app. No torn-off receipt in a jacket pocket, no "was that cash or already paid?" at half ten.

You can see where your drivers are

Every run in progress sits live on the map. You can see who's still out, who's nearly back and which delivery is dragging – before the guest rings.

  • Every driver and open delivery on one map
  • You notice delays before anyone complains
  • New runs go to the right driver with one click
Live map with every run and driver currently out

"It never arrived."

That sentence costs you money – and you can rarely disprove it. With PayPoint Drive you can: the driver takes a photo when he closes the delivery, and the photo stays attached to the order.

A photo on completion

A picture of the front door, the stairwell or the handover itself. Takes two seconds and is part of the routine.

Fixed to the order

The photo is saved and matched to the delivery. You'll find it again later with one click.

Proof when there's a complaint

If someone disputes a delivery, you've got something in hand – with the guest and with the platform.

Reporting in the PayPoint dashboard with figures from every shift

At the end of the shift the cash adds up

Cash, card payments, hours worked and kilometres driven are all tracked automatically during the shift. At the end there's a statement that driver and business both see – no Excel, no argument.

  • Cash and card payments split per driver
  • Hours and kilometres are logged automatically
  • The driver sees the same figures you do – nobody has to check the maths afterwards

The hub behind it: your Driver Terminal

PayPoint Drive is the app for the road. In the business there's the Driver Terminal: that's where every order comes in, where you assign runs, where you see the whole evening at a glance. Together the two give you complete control of your deliveries.

  • Orders from Lieferando, Uber Eats and Wolt come straight in
  • Assign runs, move them around and follow them
  • Runs on the tablet that's sitting on the counter anyway

Frequently asked questions

Do my drivers need a company phone for this?

No. PayPoint Drive runs on the driver's own smartphone – iOS and Android. The driver signs in with his own login, and that's all it takes.

What does the driver see, and what doesn't he see?

He sees his own runs, the addresses, the orders and his own cash-up. He doesn't see the business's sales figures or other drivers' runs.

How does a run get to the driver?

You assign it in the Driver Terminal – one at a time or several at once. It appears in his app straight away.

What happens if the signal drops while he's out?

The run stays visible on the device. Status updates go through as soon as the phone has reception again.

Does this work with orders from Lieferando and the rest too?

Yes. Platform orders come into your POS through the delivery platform integration and can go from there to your own drivers just the same.

And if I've only got one or two drivers?

Then it's just as worthwhile. The difference isn't the number of drivers, it's that nobody has to ring round to find out where a delivery is.
